Mrs. Bama Babu, a bright, hardworking woman from Bangalore, once lived a stable life as part of AXA’s L&D team. A graduate and young mother, she supported her family with dignity, earning ₹1,00,000 a month. Her husband, Vinayak, ran a small excavation service, and their daughter Saanvi, just 7 years old, filled their world with joy.
But life took a cruel turn. Bama was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) — a rare autoimmune disorder — which has now progressed into aplastic anaemia, a critical bone marrow failure. She has been in and out of hospitals for over two years, fighting an invisible battle that has taken over her body, her energy, and her family’s life.
